Terms of use

The service

tvfollow is a free service for discovering films and series, keeping a watchlist, marking the episodes you have watched, rating titles and following an airing calendar.

tvfollow is not a streaming platform and does not broadcast any film or series. Title information and images come from third-party sources such as The Movie Database (TMDB), and their accuracy is not guaranteed.

Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. When you sign up you must give accurate and complete information and keep it up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your password and other sign-in details secret, and for everything done through your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, tell us straight away.

Once set, your username cannot be changed. Do not choose another person’s name, a brand or a misleading phrase as your username.

You can delete your account and download a copy of your data at any time under Account → Data and account.

Licence and acceptable use

As long as you follow these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not sell, rent, distribute or commercially exploit the site or its content; modify, decompile or reverse-engineer its software; or access the site in order to build a similar or competing product.

You may not use the service for unlawful purposes, disrupt or overload it, or collect data from it with automated tools (bots, scrapers and the like).

You are responsible for making sure that what you put on your profile (username, profile photo, bio) does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

Changes to the service

We may change, suspend or discontinue the service, or any part of it, at any time. Where we can, we announce significant changes in advance.

Because the service is free, we have no obligation to provide uninterrupted support or maintenance.

Intellectual property and feedback

The design, software and brand of tvfollow belong to tvfollow. These terms transfer no rights to you beyond the licence expressly granted above. The names, posters and images of titles belong to their respective owners.

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

We may freely use any suggestions or feedback you send us to improve the service, without payment or attribution. Please do not send us anything you want kept confidential as feedback.

Privacy and cookies

Your personal data is processed under our Privacy policy, and the cookies and similar technologies the site uses are described in our Cookie policy. Both form part of these terms; if these terms and the Privacy policy conflict on the processing of personal data, the Privacy policy prevails.

Third-party services

The site may include title information and images from TMDB, trailers played through YouTube, and details of or links to streaming platforms. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content; your use of them is governed by the third party’s own terms and privacy policy.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that air dates, platform details and other title information will be accurate or up to date.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

This limitation does not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, to death or personal injury, or to any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Your responsibility

You are responsible, to the extent of your fault, for claims brought against us by third parties because you broke these terms or the law, and for the reasonable costs arising from them.

Suspension and termination

You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account.

We may suspend or close your account without notice where we reasonably suspect that you have broken these terms, or where the security of the service requires it.

The provisions on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law survive the end of this agreement.

Changes to these terms and notices

These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always published on this page. We announce significant changes by email to the address on your account or by a prominent notice on the site. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.

You agree to receive our notices by email or through the site; such notices satisfy any requirement for written notice.

Accessibility

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, so that everyone, including people with disabilities, can use the site. If you have trouble accessing it, write to [email protected].

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. As a consumer you may take disputes to the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts of Türkiye.

If you live in the European Union or another country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by contract still apply.

General

These terms, together with the Privacy and Cookie policies, are the entire agreement between us on your use of the service. If any provision is found invalid, the rest remain in effect; our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.

You may not transfer your rights under this agreement without our written consent. We may transfer this agreement to a successor in a transfer of the service, a merger or a similar transaction.
